Purpose
Achieving profit is often given by employees as the purpose of the company they work for. However, profit is not a meaningful goal, but merely a necessary condition for the company to continue to exist.
From a sustainability point of view, the purpose of a company is to create economic, ecological and social added value. Socially responsible behavior and making profits are not a contradiction in terms.
Companies that can formulate and implement a holistic purpose achieve greater customer loyalty, are more attractive employers and also benefit from more innovation within the company. This has a positive effect on the profit which arises as an economic result.
But how do you come to a purpose? And how can you determine it?
There are a number of toolkits that are used in management teaching. Our consultants can present these tools to you from their first hand experience and show you parallels to purpose discussions that have already been carried out.
